Paideia: Forming Lay Leaders for Catechesis and Evangelization
Paideia is a leadership training program designed to equip local laypeople to lead small groups focused on Catechesis and evangelization through the lens of the seven sacraments. Rooted in the biblical concept of paideia—a term that signifies moral and spiritual formation—this program embraces 2 Timothy 3:16, which speaks of Scripture as a means of training in righteousness, and Ephesians 6:4, which calls for raising disciples in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Through Scriptural study, sacramental formation, and practical leadership training, Paideia empowers lay leaders to nurture faith, foster community, and deepen the Church’s mission to bring the fullness of Catholic teaching to the world.
